Kane Family

Hi everyone.
I am very interesting in finding out if there are any "Kane Family" members still around the Swords area or if anyone knows any around Dublin. I am researching my husbands family and have a very important missing link. His name was Redmond Kane, of Swords. This, we are going back to the 1700's. We will be travelling to Dublin in early September to try to find out any information on him. Apparently he was very wealthy and he was some relation to a Nathaniel and Joseph Kane (Lord Mayors of Dublin...Nathaniel in 1734 and Joseph in 1725. If anyone knows anything about any Kanes in Swords or Dublin could they please contact me at annekane@y7mail.com.
