Old mill near Knocksedan/Rivervalley

Just moved into the area and was out walking the dogs getting familiar with the place and came across this area, it has big lake in the valley and an old derelict place covered in graffiti, few kids about said its known as the old mill and its been idle for years, does anyone know what the story is about this place? just interesting to know your local history,
