Re: Gyms in Swords
Dont bother with JS. Visited the place a few months ago with my partner with a view to joining. They tried every sales pitch they could to get us to sign within 24 hours, as usual the "offer" was due to end the next day! Was like pressurised sales for holiday apartment time share in Teneriffe you hear about. They then bombared us at home with phone calls!

Their staff seem to be better trained in sales rather than health promotion and advice.

If you have wheels go to ALSAA opposite Dublin Airport (old airport road heading for Santry). They charge a fraction of JS (about οΎ€250 for a family for a year). OK the place is not as modern but lets face it how many of us joining gyms get many opportunites to actually attend as often as we would like?

Best of luck!!

Hi Ann,
The Image Health Studio is simple but effective (depending on you of course), but also very accesssible.
One of the other respondents mentioned ALSAA, which is your best alternative.

Best of luck

Re: Gyms in Swords
i think jackie skellys is a very good gym, well equipped with friendly staff
great facilities. The image place is cheap & cheerful & more suited to serious body builders. It is a long time trading & never really expanded.Lets support the big investments being made in facilities in swords & stop knit picking & winging.

I agree - it is one of the best gyms around. i know they do keep phoning you after you enquire however at the end of the day what does that matter ??!!
its still got the best facilties in the nicest settings by far. Of course they follow up on potential clients - they are a business after all.
